Minh Hong Bio-Tech Company Limited in Da Nang - Nothing is Beyond Reach “Some people say I am weird and crazy to study and do research in the natural sciences because I did not take any courses or receive a degree in that field. Despite the naysayers, I fiercely pursued my passion. The success of my first product, “Versatile Organic Cleaning Product” has made me very proud. Moreover, it has also provided a chance to create jobs for marginalized local women,” said Trinh Thi Hong, an orphan who was raised by neighbors. Her extraordinary effort turned organic waste into money, proving that “nothing is beyond reach.”

Gia An Farm, Lam Dong
A Teacher’s Passion for Innovative Agricultural Methods With a passion for agriculture, teacher Phuong is very interested in planting. She always appreciates creative innovations in farming. She is now growing small cucumbers and tomatoes using a Japanese technique that has replaced the traditional farming method. The new technique uses organic ingredients such as eggs, milk powder, and molasses to make fertilizers. Using this fertilizer, revenue is six times higher than by planting with the old method. “Teachers can also begin start-ups and incorporate innovative techniques,” said Ms. Phuong.
