On the afternoon of October 18, 2020, the Vietnamese Women's Museum in collaboration with the Ikebana House and Kulsimi launched the opening of the Vietnam - Japan Cultural Exchange Center to introduce the features and special art of Japanese culture alongside the traditional crafts of Vietnam.
On the occasion of the 45th establishment of full diplomatic relations between England and Vietnam, the Vietnamese Women’s Museum (VWM) participated in the Women of the World Festival (WOW) 2018.
For International Women’s Day on March 8th 2018, the Vietnam Women’s Union held a ceremony for the Kovalevskaia Awards 2017. This ceremony brought together female scientists with students of Hanoi National University.
This was the first time the Vietnamese Women’s Museum (VWM) had held a training workshop on gender equality and girls’ education for its staff and secondary school teachers.
On May 14, 2016, the Vietnamese Women's Museum (VWM) organized a training workshop to enhance the knowledge of its staff on gender equality and gender-related issues¬. A group of gender specialists from UNESCO joined the workshop.
On the morning of April, 7th 2016, Mrs. In-La-Văn Kẹo-bun-phăn - a member of the Central Committee of Laos and President of Lao Women's Union paid a visit to the Vietnamese Women's Museum (VWM) during her stay in Vietnam for meetings with the Vietnamese Women's Union.

Fukushima is well-known to the Vietnamese people because of the recent tsunami and nuclear power station disasters that occurred in March 2011. These duel disasters almost destroyed this peaceful and beautiful city. Since then, the people of Fukushima have been living and working together to bring back the inherent beauty of this area.
Tired, but full of excitement, local women from Hung Yen Province took part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition “Women and the Internet: Opportunities and Change” at the Vietnamese Women’s Museum.
