Vietnam Festival of Creativity & Design 2024 launched in Hanoi
On November 16, the Vietnam Festival of Creativity and Design (VFCD) 2024 was officially inaugurated at the Vietnamese Women’s Museum. The event was jointly organized by RMIT University Vietnam and the Vietnam Institute of Culture and Arts Studies (VICAS), with support from key partners including the Vietnamese Women’s Museum, Hexagon, Viral Town, and various organizations and individuals in the creative industry. Media support was provided by Hanoi Grapevine, while Behalf Studio served as the design partner.
At the opening ceremony, Associate Professor Donna Cleveland, representing RMIT Vietnam, remarked: “This year’s theme, Regeneration, reflects our belief that it’s time to go beyond traditional sustainable design and embrace approaches that combine design thinking with nature-based solutions and scientific insights. Our aim is to rejuvenate and discover solutions that harmonize the needs of both local and global communities while safeguarding the environment. This central theme is explored through three key pillars: Culture and Heritage, Community and Space, and Environment.”
