The rice mill of people in Le Thuy, Quang Binh Province presented to the Vietnamese Women’s Museum
With the special interest of the Vietnamese Women’s Museum in mind, on the morning of June 4th 2018, Mr. Vo Dien Bien, General Vo Nguyen Giap’s son donated the rice mill of the people in Le Thuy, Quang Binh Province to the museum.
This is one of the two mills that local artisans produced. The rest is now being displayed at the Memorial House of General Vo Nguyen Giap in An Xa hamlet, Loc Thuy Commune, Le Thuy District, Quang Binh Province.
The Vietnamese Women’s Museum will supplement and enrich their collection through valuable donated artifacts, with the aims of displaying the roles played by women, in their active contribution to agricultural production, in addition to their organization of family life.
