The Vietnamese Women’s Museum brings two mobile exhibitions titled “Children in the wartime” and “Two sisters – two frontiers” to Tay Son Elementary School

On the morning of December 17th, the Vietnamese Women’s Museum (VWM) organized two mobile exhibitions titled “Children in the wartime” and “Two sisters – two frontiers” at the Tay Son Elementary School to mark the anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army on December 22nd.

During the flag-raising ceremony, nearly 1,800 students and their teachers attended the exhibitions.

In order to fill the need of visiting the exhibitions of all students, the Museum staff had an on-site training for the head teachers and administrators of 34 classes so that they can give tours to their students.

After the opening ceremony, the school invited each class to come to the meeting room to watch a film about the Three Responsibilities of Vietnamese women and visit the exhibitions. Most of them were eager to learn about the contributions of Vietnamese women in the wartime.

The mobile exhibitions are part of the initiative of VWM in bringing museum-related contents closer to the audience to help them understand the contributions and the life of the Northern and Southern Vietnamese women during the war against the Americans.

The exhibitions were on display until December 19th.
