This museum describes itself as the ‘world’s foremost bag collection.’ Housed in a historic canal house in the center of Amsterdam, it offers 500 years of history of the Western ladies’ bag. The museum began as the private collection of Hendrikje Ivo, who collected bags for over 35 years.
