An exhibition “Children in Wartime” was opened on the morning of Nov. 18 and welcomed by children and teachers of Trưng Vương Lower Secondary School during the Flag saluting session on the occasion of the Vietnam Teachers’ Day. The Exhibition is jointly organized by the Vietnamese Women’s Museum (VWM) and Kim Đồng Publishing House.

The “Children in the wartime” exhibition by the Vietnamese Women’s Museum was warmly welcomed by the teachers and pupils in the school’s traditional room on the morning of Nov. 26th.
The exhibition not only reminded the teachers of their childhood war memories but also raised the pupil’s curiosity about the lively photographs of how pupils lived, worked, and went to school under war conditions 40 years ago.
Women and Innovation 2013
The Exhibition “Women and Innovation 2013” was opened this morning (Oct. 1, 2013) at the Vietnamese Women’s Museum (36 Lý Thường Kiệt St., Hanoi). The exhibition under the theme “Empowering women and building their economic capacity” is jointly organized by the Vietnam Women’s Union, the World Bank, and UN Women.
Vietnamese Women’s Museum received the Traveler’s Choice Attraction Award 2013
The Vietnam Women's Museum has just received its second award for 2013 from TripAdvisor: “Travelers’ Choice Attraction Award 2013”. Indonesian National Army Commander-in-chief’s wife visiting VWM
Ms. TeTTy Agus Suhartono, the wife of the Commander-in-chief of the Indonesian National Army paid a visit to VWM on July 26, 2013. She spent nearly an hour on learning about Vietnamese women through the exhibit with the following topics: Women in the family; Women in history and Women’s fashion. Ms. TeTTy Agus Suhartono was really moved about the strength and strong will of Vietnamese women in the war of resistance for national defense.
