Exhibition “I Live Green” taken to Quang Tri Province

A meeting was jointly held by the People’s Committee and the Women Union of Quang Tri Province on June 4 in response to the Week “Vietnam Sea and Islands” (01-08/6/2014) and “The World Environment Day” (June 5). The meeting was held on Cua Tung Coast, Vinh Linh District, Quang Tri province with the participation of more than 2000 people representing different agencies and social organizations such as the Provincial Women Union, Youth Union, commune and district People’s Committees, Armed Forces, and school children and students and local people. On this occasion, the Vietnamese Women’s Museum took its Exhibition “I Live Green” to visitors in Quang Tri province.

The meeting was attended by thousands of people

The Exhibition “I Live Green” is resulted from the cooperation between the Vietnamese Women’s Museum and the Action Centre for City Development (ACCD) to raise community awareness in saving natural resources and reducing wastes… The Exhibition attracts thousands of visitors, particularly the Women Union’s members, and young people.

Following the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet, Vice President of the Vietnam Women’s Union had a working session with the Quang Tri Women Union and its members to provide more information on the current situation in the East Sea. The session helped participants understand more about the situation and relieve their concerns.
