The Exhibition “Picturing autism Vietnam”

Picturing Autism Vietnam is part of Photographer Debbie Rasiel’s journey across disparate landscapes, language barriers, and cultural divides to document the lives of families with living autism. In this exhibition, a collective portrait emerges of families and caregivers living with autism, loving their children, and continuing on with their lives.

The exhibition “Stories of Resilence: Women living with disasters”

The opening ceremony of the exhibition "Stories of Resilience: Women living with disasters" was held at the Vietnamese Women's Museum on March 7th 2016. The exhibition is part of a project that focuses on enhancing the capacity of women in disaster risk reduction adaptation. The project is being implemented by the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) with support from UN Women.

The Comic and Cartoon Contest – Gender Equality: Picture it!

40 outstanding drawings from the "Gender Equality: Picture it" Comic and Cartoon Contest are on exhibition at the Vietnamese Women's Museum, between March 1st and March 10th, 2016. The contest was organized by the Embassy of Belgium, the Belgian Development Agency (BTC) in Vietnam and UN Women Vietnam, in cooperation with the Vietnamese Women's Union, with the aim of eliminating sexual violence as well as other forms of violence against women and girls.

Audio guide trial period

After a year of careful preparation, the Vietnamese Women's Museum is ready to launch its new audio guide tour. From February 1st, 2016, visitors will have the chance to try the audio guide for free in 3 different languages: Vietnamese, English and French.

Vietnamese Women’s Museum donates 300 winter coats to children in Bac Kan

For the past 5 years, the Vietnamese Women's Museum has run a charity project named "Warm Winter" to donate food and clothes to poor women and children across Vietnam. This year the project was held in My Thanh Village in Bac Kan Province. There are 220 poor and near-poor households in this area, with the majority of them belonging to the Yao and Tay ethnic groups.

Comic and Cartoon Contest launched to promote gender equality

On the afternoon of 24th November 2015, Belgium Embassy in conjunction with UN Women in Vietnam, the Vietnamese Women's Museum, and Thai Airlines, jointly host a press conference for the launching of a Comic and  Cartoon Contest titled "Gender Equality. Picture it”. The conference has already attracted the attention of many students, artists, sponsors as well as non-governmental organizations and communications agencies.
