After a year of careful preparation, the Vietnamese Women's Museum is ready to launch its new audio guide tour. From February 1st, 2016, visitors will have the chance to try the audio guide for free in 3 different languages: Vietnamese, English and French.
For the past 5 years, the Vietnamese Women's Museum has run a charity project named "Warm Winter" to donate food and clothes to poor women and children across Vietnam. This year the project was held in My Thanh Village in Bac Kan Province. There are 220 poor and near-poor households in this area, with the majority of them belonging to the Yao and Tay ethnic groups.
On the occasion of Lunar New Year 2016, the Vietnamese Women's Museum is close from Saturday, February 6th to Sunday, February 14th 2016 (Lunar Calendar from December 28th to January 7th).

40 paintings by Soraya Runckel expressing the beauty of Vietnam and its people will be displayed in the temporary exhibition room of the Vietnamese Women’s Museum from December 8th to December 10th 2015.
On the afternoon of 24th November 2015, Belgium Embassy in conjunction with UN Women in Vietnam, the Vietnamese Women's Museum, and Thai Airlines, jointly host a press conference for the launching of a Comic and Cartoon Contest titled "Gender Equality. Picture it”. The conference has already attracted the attention of many students, artists, sponsors as well as non-governmental organizations and communications agencies.
This was said by Mrs. Bekk Mariá - President of National Assembly of Hungary's Wife on her private tour around the Vietnamese Women's Museum on November 9th, 2015. The place was one of several primary destinations she chose to visit during her stay in Hanoi. Here she was deeply impressed with the overall exhibit.
The Book Fair has become an annual event with the cooperation of the Vietnamese Women’s Museum, Women Publishing House, Kim Dong Publishing House, and Youth Publishing House. This is the 8th times Vietnamese Women’s Museum and these publishing houses together organize book fair for book-lovers in Ha Noi. Autumn Book Fair 2015 promises to bring many interesting choices for readers.
In 2 days October 25th and 26th 2015, the ICME (International Committee of Museum of Ethnography) 2015 Annual Conference “Museum and Communities: Diversity, Dialogue, Collaboration” was taken place at the Vietnamese Museum of Ethnology.
