These are the stories of “young ladies” from the Hanoi Capital City, who were ready to leave the lecture theatre and stop their academic activities to join the army and take part in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign.

Under the leadership of the Presidium of the Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU) Central Committee, the Vietnamese Women’s Museum (VWM) has over the past years made strong steps of developments, actively contributing to fulfilling the political task of the VWU and the country and the task of communication and education of patriotism, national pride and fine cultural traditions to people of all strata in general and VWU members in particular.

n The morning of 25th April 2014, the Vietnam Women's Unions and the Vietnamese Women's Museum delegation went to Dien Bien Phu which is a place that the country was focused on for the 60th Anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory, a shining golden landmark of history. This trip called “Pilgrimage” aims at conducting a visible work of all VWU’s activities: Organising the Exhibition: “Dien Bien Memories”.
