A meeting was jointly held by the People’s Committee and the Women Union of Quang Tri Province on June 4 in response to the Week "Vietnam Sea and Islands” (01-08/6/2014) and "The World Environment Day" (June 5).
Vietnamese Women’s Museum was rated by Tripadvisor Website in June 2014 the Top 3 of the 94 best attractions in Hanoi in 2014. So, in three consecutive years (2012, 2013, 2014), Vietnamese Women’s Museum has maintained this title and is always in the Top 3 of the list of best attractions in Hanoi.
Study-cum-practice and museum to be used as an interesting learning place are what schools and museums are targeting in their organization of educational activities for children, particularly in the subject of history.

Every year since 1977 the International Council of Museums (ICOM) established International Museum Day which is organized around 18th May by museums from all over the world. This year, in the ICOM's opinion, the Museum is a cultural organization which has responsibilities for the preservation of and connection between the present and the past through the museums' collections. Therefore, the ICOM's 2014 theme, "Museum collections make connections", aims at renovating traditional methods of engagement adopted by museums in order to remain relevant to their stakeholders and all cultures throughout the world.
On the occasion of International Museum's Day May 18th, 2014, the Vietnamese Women's Museum opens free of charge to the public. Come to visit us and discover one of the best gender museums.
Amidst the joyful atmosphere in celebration of the 60th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (1954-2014), an exhibition "Dien Bien Memories” jointly organized by the Vietnamese Women’s Museum (VWM) and Vietnam Museum of Military History was opened on the morning of May 6, 2014, at VWM.
