Picturing Autism Vietnam is part of Photographer Debbie Rasiel’s journey across disparate landscapes, language barriers, and cultural divides to document the lives of families with living autism. The exhibition “Stories of Resilence: Women living with disasters”
The opening ceremony of the exhibition "Stories of Resilience: Women living with disasters" was held at the Vietnamese Women's Museum on March 7th 2016. The exhibition is part of a project that focuses on enhancing the capacity of women in disaster risk reduction adaptation. The project is being implemented by the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) with support from UN Women.
The Comic and Cartoon Contest – Gender Equality: Picture it!
40 outstanding drawings from the "Gender Equality: Picture it" Comic and Cartoon Contest are on exhibition at the Vietnamese Women's Museum, between March 1st and March 10th, 2016. The contest was organized by the Embassy of Belgium, the Belgian Development Agency (BTC) in Vietnam and UN Women Vietnam, in cooperation with the Vietnamese Women's Union, with the aim of eliminating sexual violence as well as other forms of violence against women and girls.
Audio guide trial period
After a year of careful preparation, the Vietnamese Women's Museum is ready to launch its new audio guide tour. From February 1st, 2016, visitors will have the chance to try the audio guide for free in 3 different languages: Vietnamese, English and French.
