Looking at her, I could not think that she had battled and endured being bitten and eaten by mosquitos and leeches, as well as being attacked by malaria, etc. She is Nguyen Thi Quynh Dung, a dancer of the delegation of the General Department of Logistic of the People’s Army of Vietnam (1966 – 1973).

To celebrate Independence Day,on September 2nd, the Vietnamese Women’s Museum (VWM) hosted the photography exhibition “The colours of life” in cooperation with the Hanoi Photography Club. This collection of 40 photos authentically, intimately and sincerely depicts the moments of color in the lives of Vietnamese women.

On the morning of August 20th, the museum received the wives of Infantry Leaders of Asia Pacific who were participating in the 42nd Asia-Pacific Infantry Management Conference, hosted in Vietnam by the Army General Staff of Vietnam and the High Command of Pacific Infantry of America.

“I am very happy when I learn new things. I was especially excited to make ice cream by myself and I ended up really enjoying it. I find this is the most beneficial activity for me during my summer vacation. I want to explore more science topics!” shared Bao Phuc, showing her excitement. The other participants who took part in the “Science Party” of the STEAM Club at the Vietnamese Women’s Museum were also very enthusiastic. Young scientists explored the phenomenon of sublimation of dry ice and applied scientific knowledge to create very funny gas shells. Students collaborated to make ice cream by combining salt and ice and then skillfully shaking it, which ultimately created a delicious ice cream. .
The Vietnamese Women’s Museums work recording history is essential!
On July 12th, 2018 in the framework of an official visit to Vietnam, a delegation of female Japanese parliamentarians led by Tsuchya Shinako, visited the Vietnamese Women’s Museum. Tsuchya Shinako is a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet (national legislature) and Head of the Committee for the Development of Women of the Liberal Democratic Party and cities’ representatives in Japan.
